Greetings my fellow Throwers I am THL Brigitta Rosa von Metten, the Kingdom Thrown Weapons Scorekeeper. I will be your faithful servant in keeping this site up to date along with the creator of this wonderful site Sir Jonathas. This site will not only be an active database for Royal Rounds, but it may also serve as a database for any other kingdom-sponsored throws (such as annual challenge) we wish to put together. If you believe your score is incorrect please search your name and check all of the scores submitted and the dates, sometimes the scores you were counting on are now over 12 months old.
Please also use the search and look for your name if you have not thrown in the last 12 months. If you have completed Royal Rounds within the last year, please contact the Thrown Weapons Marshal who was in charge and find out if they will submit the scores. They can submit the scores online, by e-mail or by regular "snail" mail.

If your name appears without the SCA Name, a Mundane Name, a Group, a Weapon Type, or is spelled incorrectly, please let me know so I can make corrections. If you are a thrower in the Middle Kingdom, and your name is not on this list, please contact me at the e-mail address above.

How do I participate?
Go to an event that has thrown weapons, and shoot a scores in a Royal Round. Ask the Thrown Weapons Marshal if they intend on reporting the results (see below). Local practices whose schedules are published in a group newsletter count as official.

What is TWIC?

It stands for Thrown Weapons Interkingdom Challenge (TWIC) and is the official format kingdoms use when competing against each other.

A TWIC consists of:

  • 15 throws with an axe
  • 15 throws with a knife
  • 15 throws with a spear

Competitors throw five of each weapon from each of three distances. Knives and axes are thrown from the 10-, 15-, and 20-foot lines. Spears are thrown from the 15-, 20-, and 25-foot lines.

See this website for the TWIC Rules & Regulations: http://www.scores-sca.org/twic
