2015 IKAC Awards

Greetings from Mika Longbow, Keeper of the IKAC

I apologize for the lateness of this important information being distributed and awards being given out. Having recently taken over it is my goal to get these important awards out in a timely matter. To that end if anyone is still missing medallions from a previous year please let me know and I will get it done.

Starting for 2015 the IKAC will give awards for 1st and 2nd place in all archery divisions with the exception of combat division (once there numbers increase they will be included as well).

I would like to thank all the archers that participated in this year’s Competition.

No rules were changed for the 2016 season. There will be changes for the 2017 to include the new sca rule change for period archery and the change in awarding 1st and 2nd place medallions for all except combat divisions. If any have suggestions please sent them to me.

Medallions for the 2015 winners have been ordered and should be arriving to me in mid-December. If you are a winning archer or if you would like to distribute medallions for your kingdom please contact me @ikackeeper@yahoo.com. As usual I would encourage that the winners be recognized at Royal Court, if that is possible.

I would like to thank my deputy for Youth Archery, Lord Osmond de Berwick, for his tremendous help and superb performance and invaluable assistance. I am truly grateful for Master Jonathas, whose work on this site and assistance makes this possible and so much easier.

Lastly I would thank everyone who participated, be that shooting, marshalling entering scores or in some other capacity. It is you that makes this work. The IKAC only grows with all that you do.
